When Whoopi found out that the new book's theme was the same as the show's--Plastic Surgery--she put John and FACES OF FEAR on the show!

 

Recently, John's new desk, appeared in Fine Woodworking magazine. This was customized and designed and built for John. John works standing up and this desk is located in his Seattle home.

 

Open the main doors and inside is a lilliputian office with a parquet floor, wainscoting and a door. When the dollhouse size door opens there is tromp l'oeil hallway and portrait beyond.

 

The floor pops up and a drawer opens. Voila, John's computer and keyboard are ready to go into action! Rumor has it that there are seven hidden compartments built into the desk.

Inlaid into the parquet floor is a compass rose with John's initials.
